Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented WordPress Developer who thrives on solving complex problems, building efficient backend solutions, and creating seamless web experiences. In this role at Retail Solution, you will design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, implement custom themes and plugins, optimize site performance and security, and contribute to both front-end and backend functionality. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly web experiences, tackling projects that push your skills and creativity to the next level.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
  • Implement backend functionality using PHP, MySQL, and other server-side technologies.
  • Collaborate with designers and content teams to create responsive and visually appealing websites.
  • Optimize website performance, security, and follow SEO best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts. Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services when required.
  • Maintain documentation for all development projects.​
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress and web development trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
  • Freshers are highly encouraged to apply
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL .
  • Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, customization, and backend development.
  • Knowledge of website optimization techniques (speed, SEO, security).
  • Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
